These notes are intended to be distributed to all active and auxiliary

Allocutio
Fr. Maher gave the Allocutio.
The Eucharist is our treasure. We have to be vocal and enthusiastic
about the Eucharist in the public arena. We have the extra duty to
proclaim it because we have the opportunity to do so in our Legion
work. We want to preach Christ crucified, and we have that gift at our
disposal. The world hungers for it. When going door-to-door, ponder
their question, “Do you have a personal relationship with
Jesus?” We as Catholics can say, “Yes, we have the
Eucharist.” We have the most personal relationship, but it is
not
our secret. We should recognize that we must proclaim this news. Mary
wants us to see her son in his flesh. Entrust those people we visit to
our Lady and they will be brought closer to Jesus in the Eucharist.
