We must focus on the next world, not this world. we must not seek rewards in this world, but in the next. We should meditate on the new Jeruselem and read the last 2 chapters of Revelation. We give birth to physical children by work. The work of the Church is to give birth to spiritual children. Genuine Christian suffering is not seeing the fruits of labor and pursecution until death. If we share in the passion of Christ, we share in his Duty and his suffering. This suffering makes us spiritual children. We must realize our dependance on God. “I can do nothing by myself, only with God can I please God.” Fruitfullness is done with suffering. We will being to see suffering as a good sign of fruitfullness.
