Please join me in the opening prayer for this blog before making your first post: Hail Mary, Full of Grace, The Lord is with you. Blessed are you among women, and blessed is the fruit of your womb, Jesus. Holy Mary, Mother of God, pray for us sinners now, and at the hour of death.  This blog is a temporary test to determine if Our Lady of Good Council should maintain a blog. During this test period, only active and auxiliary members of the Legion of Mary may comment; However, it is my hope that in the very near future, all practicing Catholics will be allowed to comment. All are welcome to read the posts.  Please follow the following rules: 1- Lord, your God, with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind 2- Love your neighbor as yourself Some examples of following the rules, include: praying before you post, treating other with respect, not using profanity, and not sharing confidential information about others on this blog

The joys and the hopes, the griefs and the anxieties of the of the people you see in your Legion of Mary work, especially those who are poor or in any way afflicted, these are the joys and hopes, the griefs and anxieties of the followers of Christ. Indeed, nothing genuinely human fails to raise an echo in their hearts. For theirs is a community composed of men. United in Christ, they are led by the Holy Spirit in their journey to the Kingdom of their Father and they have welcomed the news of salvation which is meant for every man. All knowledge that does not have Love as its end is useless.
