1. The mightiest helper of the Christian people, and the most merciful, is the Virgin Mother of God. How fitting it is to accord her honors ever increasing in splendor, and call upon her aid with a confidence daily growing more ardent. The abundant blessings, infinitely varied and constantly multiplying, which flow from her all over the whole world for the common benefit of mankind, add fresh motives for invoking and honoring her.

My Aunt Elaine, Auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary in Flordia passed away this morning, on the Feast of the Assumption of the Blessed Mary into Heaven. Thank you for all your prayers and continue to pray for the repose of her soul.

Dear legionaries,
We wish to inform you that a decision was taken by the Concilium at its April 2005 meeting permitting the recitation of the Prayer for the Beatification of the Servant of God, Frank Duff. The recommendation was that the prayer would be recited at the end of every Legion meeting (praesidium and council) which takes place throughout the world.
